Delete your data

How to permanently remove Your Trip Pilot information from your device.

Effective 22 June 2026
Release 1 does not create an online account.

Your trips, device profile, route records, journal copies and generated local backups are stored on your device. There is currently no server account for the operator to delete.

Delete everything inside the app

  1. Open Your Trip Pilot.
  2. Open Profile and data.
  3. Open Privacy and data.
  4. Select Delete all local data.
  5. Type DELETE and confirm.

This is designed to remove the local database, profile, trips, expenses, route records, copied journal media, caches and generated local backups controlled by the app.

Alternative Android methods

You can also open Android Settings → Apps → Your Trip Pilot → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstall the app. Android menu wording varies by device.

Files outside the app

Delete exported backups, documents, photos or shared files separately from the destination where you saved them. Clearing the app cannot remove copies controlled by email, cloud drives, messaging apps, recipients or other storage providers.

Request help

If the app is unavailable or deletion fails, email rushitharkhani95@gmail.com. Explain the problem without sending passwords, passphrases, identity documents or unnecessary personal information. Requests are normally reviewed within seven business days.

Future online accounts

If a later release creates online accounts, this page will be updated with a server-side deletion request process, identity-verification limits, retention periods and deletion exceptions before that feature is released.
