Quick troubleshooting

Trips or changes are missing

Confirm you are using the same device and app storage has not been cleared. Release 1 does not synchronize trips across devices.

Maps, weather or live schedules are unavailable

The default release keeps online travel providers disabled. Offline estimates and manual entries may remain available; the app should not present unavailable provider data as live.

Location does not work

Open Android Settings → Apps → Your Trip Pilot → Permissions and allow location while using the app. Start route recording from its visible tracking screen. The app does not request background location.

Photos are unavailable

Select media through the system picker. A missing original or insufficient storage may prevent a local journal copy.

Encrypted backup cannot be restored

Verify the correct backup file and exact passphrase. The operator cannot recover a forgotten passphrase.
